Joe Gyekis will lead a walk around the grounds and along the Kerlin Trail to identify various species of birds as well as discuss birding behaviors such as migration and nesting. Use of various birding apps (e.g. eBird, Merlin, BirdNet) will be discussed as well to encourage birding in multiple settings and the value of being a citizen scientist.
